  42. Appalachian SPCA Foster Waiver
  43. Being a Foster with the ASPCA involves some risk of injury, illness or both. Injuries may include, but are not limited to, those caused by slips, falls, dog bites and scratches. Dog bites (and severe scratches) may cause infections. And while most illnesses are species specific, a few are not, therefore you do risk spread to yourself and/or family members. Furthermore, without proper sanitation and separation you could spread illnesses to your own dog(s).
  44. I understand and accept this risk and agree that the Appalachian SPCA will not be liable for any damage, injury or illness sustained while volunteering as a foster parent.
  45. (required)
  46. Note: The Appalachian SPCA recommends that your tetanus vaccination is up-to-date.
